Corbin Bell Ringers

In 1978, Marvin and Frances Kloefkorn purchased 5 octaves of Malmark Bells and the Corbin Bell Ringers were formed! Frances was the director for nearly 30 years, as the Bell Ringers performed at numerous events. Frances worked with all children in church for many years playing in a Chime Choir. In 2006, due to health reasons, Frances retired from directing and the Kloefkorns donated the bells to the church. Currently there are 10-12 who regularly ring in the winter months. Bell ringing has been a important experience for the Corbin UMC family. Periodically some of those now “grown up” chime ringers come back to participate in ringing. and there are some third generations now ringing bells!

The fall 2012 bell performances will be November 11 and December 9 during 9:30 am Worship at Corbin.
